UK forecast for the next 5 days

Mostly dry and sunny today, but a cloudier day tomorrow.

A warm and dry day for many with sunny spells. However, there could be the odd light shower in some western parts during the afternoon, and in eastern coastal counties it will be feeling cooler.

Staying dry with any light showers in the west dying out. Skies will become cloudier from the east, so temperatures will be milder here, but a chilly night further west.

A cloudier day but cooler day on Wednesday, particularly towards the east. Some light rain is possible at times through the day, but particularly in north-east England during the evening.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Rather changeable with sunny spells and patchy cloud. There will be outbreaks of rain for some, with perhaps some heavy or thundery showers in the south. Turning warmer.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Saturday 28 May 2016 to Monday 6 Jun 2016:

Many areas should see some fine, dry weather over the Bank Holiday weekend, especially the northwest, but with some scattered heavy thundery showers possible, more especially in the south. It should be rather warm generally, although eastern coasts may remain chilly. There is a risk of more persistent rain, stronger winds and cooler conditions affecting parts of the east and south later in the Holiday weekend and into early next week. From midweek onwards settled weather may become more widespread across the UK, with longer periods of dry and bright weather, but still with a risk of some showers or outbreaks of rain, possibly thundery, particularly in the south. Temperatures are then likely to be somewhat above average, particularly in the south and west, with a humid feel at times.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 7 Jun 2016 to Tuesday 21 Jun 2016:

Currently it looks likely that generally settled conditions will continue through the first half of June, as high pressure remains close to the UK. This should bring a good deal of dry and sunny weather for most, particularly in the northwest, whilst some showery outbreaks, possibly thundery, are still possible in places. High pressure may break down later in the period, bringing more unsettled conditions, with rain or showers and perhaps some stronger winds. Temperatures are favoured to be just above average for most areas, especially in the south and west.
