Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 5 Jul 2016 to Thursday 14 Jul 2016:

The latest indications are that the weather during early to mid July will remain changeable and often unsettled with bands of rain pushing eastwards across the British Isles, interspersed with intervals of sunshine and showers. In general the wettest weather is most likely to occur across the west and north, where it will also be windy at times, while the south and east should see the best of any drier and brighter spells, along with generally lighter winds. The temperature is expected to be mostly on the cool side for the time of year, particularly in western and northern parts. However it will feel warmer in any drier, sunnier periods, especially in the south and east.

UK Outlook for Friday 15 Jul 2016 to Friday 29 Jul 2016:

Initially in mid July changeable weather is likely to persist across the north, with spells of rain or sunshine and showers, and temperatures close to or below average for the time of year. However as we head towards the latter part of the month there are signs that a spell of generally more settled weather may start to take hold, which would bring longer dry periods along with warmer temperatures and lighter winds, especially across southern areas. There is also a chance of more humid continental air moving up across the south and southeast at times, bringing very warm temperatures and perhaps a risk of some thundery showers.
