Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 4 Aug 2016 to Saturday 13 Aug 2016:

An area of rain in the southeast should clear away to the east on Thursday to leave generally brighter, breezy and showery conditions across all areas through Friday and into the weekend. Through the rest of the period indications are that changeable conditions will prevail. This means that there will be intervals of dry, sunny weather interspersed with periods of rain or showers and strong winds. Northwestern parts are likely to see the heaviest rain and perhaps unseasonably strong winds at times whereas the southeast should experience the best of the drier, brighter weather. Some large swings in temperature are likely, although overall it should average out at close to or slightly below normal for the time of year.

Northern and northwestern parts should have the wettest weather, with the south and southeast seeing the lengthiest dry and fine spells. Some large swings in temperature remain likely, although overall it should continue to average out at close to or slightly below normal for August.
