Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 4 Aug 2015 to Thursday 13 Aug 2015:

Cloudy and humid conditions in the far east at first on Tuesday, soon clearing as much fresher and windier weather arrives from the west. Scattered, blustery showers will affect many areas, heaviest and most frequent in northern and western parts, whilst southern and eastern areas will see the best of any drier and brighter conditions. Showers are likely to turn lighter and less frequent on Wednesday, and thereafter changeable conditions are expected to continue. The north is most likely to see more frequent spells of wind and rain. Southern areas should see the best of any drier and settled weather, but some rain at times too. Temperatures likely to be near or just below normal in the north, and around normal in the south, however some warmer spells are possible.

UK Outlook for Friday 14 Aug 2015 to Friday 28 Aug 2015:

The changeable conditions are likely to continue into the latter half of August. Northern areas remain most likely to see the more frequent spells of wind and rain, with the best of the drier and more settled conditions in the south, although some outbreaks of rain are likely to reach here at times too. There is a weak signal for some periods of drier and more settled weather to develop towards the end of the month, however confidence in this is currently low. Temperatures on the whole will be near or below average for the time of year, especially in the north, although during any settled spells of weather in the south later on it could turn rather warm at times.
