Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Monday 30 Nov 2015 to Wednesday 9 Dec 2015:

Monday looks set to be a cloudy day in the south with outbreaks of rain and a mixture of sunshine and showers, as well as some hill snow, in the north. It will be a windy day, with a risk of gales in places. From Tuesday onwards, a succession of Atlantic weather systems are likely to spread across the UK from the west. Northern areas are likely to bear the brunt of these, with the strongest winds and heaviest rain as well as some sleet or hill snow. Between systems, most areas will have some drier and brighter periods, the best of these in the south. Temperatures will generally be around normal, although feel colder in exposure due to the strength of the wind.

UK Outlook for Thursday 10 Dec 2015 to Thursday 24 Dec 2015:

Often unsettled through mid-December across the UK. Showers or longer spells of rain will affect most parts as Atlantic weather systems continue to move in from the west, these bringing periods of strong winds or gales. Temperatures are likely to be around average or slightly above, although night frosts are likely in clearer periods between weather systems.
