Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Saturday 30 Jul 2016 to Monday 8 Aug 2016:

Brighter and cooler through the weekend, with scattered showers affecting western and northwestern parts and southeastern parts remaining generally dry. Later in the weekend and start of the week, it may turn a little windier with cloud and rain pushing into western parts. The remainder of the period is likely to stay rather changeable, with a mixture of brighter but showery spells interspersed with cloudier conditions with bands of rain pushing through. Northwestern parts will see the heaviest of the rain along with the strongest winds, whereas the southeast will get the best of the drier and brighter weather. Temperatures should be largely around average, but cooler at times in the northwest and occasionally warm or very warm and humid in the southeast.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 9 Aug 2016 to Tuesday 23 Aug 2016:

The UK is most likely to remain within this changeable regime through August. Outbreaks of rain, along with sunshine and showers may affect the country at times, but there is also likely to be some warmer and settled periods. Northern and northwestern parts are expected to see most of the rain, with the south and southeast seeing more of the drier and settled conditions. There is a chance that a more prolonged settled and warm spell may develop for a time around mid-August, though confidence is currently low. Temperatures will probably average out around normal, with some warmer and cooler days likely.
