    Rain will continue through this evening and overnight, perhaps turning heavy at times particularly across parts of Cornwall and Devon. Some clear spells will develop, but winds will remain light and it will be mild. Minimum Temperature 7 °C.

    Monday:

    Monday will see a mixture of sunshine and showers with some longer spells of heavier rain possible at times. Winds will remain light and in any sunshine it'll feel warm. Maximum Temperature 15 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Mostly dry and settled through next week, although the chance of a shower later on Tuesday. Some warm sunshine on Wednesday and Thursday, especially in the west, but becoming breezier.

    Rain will gradually push into the Midlands and the rest of Wales overnight, with further heavy bursts likely over south-west England. However, across Scotland and Northern Ireland it will stay dry and breezy with clear spells.

    Monday:

    England and Wales will see showers or longer spells of rain, but with some sunshine in between. Further north it will stay dry, with warm sunshine in the west.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Dry across the north and west, with some warm sunshine at times. Cloudier and cooler in the east with showery rain across the south-east at times. Generally breezy.

    UK Outlook for Friday 5 May 2017 to Sunday 14 May 2017:

    This period will begin mostly dry and fine with the best of the bright or sunny weather likely to be across the west and north-west. The far south may see some showers or longer spells of rain at times and it will continue to be fairly breezy, especially on exposed eastern coasts. Temperatures will be close to normal and it will feel warm in any sunshine, but along the east coast it will be rather cool. Thereafter, it is likely to turn cooler more widely for a time with the best of the dry and bright weather persisting in the west and a risk overnight frost in the north. However, by the end of the period it could gradually turn more unsettled and milder from the southwest.

    UK Outlook for Monday 15 May 2017 to Monday 29 May 2017:

    As we head into the middle of May, it is more likely that drier than average conditions will continue. However there remains the possibility of some occasional wetter interludes, especially in the south and west. After a fairly cold start, temperatures are likely to become warmer with the chance that they could become very warm at times, particularly later in the month.
