    Sunny spells during the evening. Cloud amounts are likely to increase overnight, with outbreaks of rain likely at times, largely affecting western areas. Minimum Temperature 12°C.

    Wednesday:

    It will remain breezy although mostly dry and bright. There is a chance of isolated outbreaks of showery rain, most likely in northern areas. Feeling cooler than previous days. Maximum Temperature 20°C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Some early rain possible Thursday, but mostly dry and warmer again with sunny spells through this period. A few showers may develop on Saturday.

    Unsettled at times and feeling cool for most by Wednesday.

    Today:

    Showery rain, heavy at times, affecting much of northern Scotland and Northern Ireland. Elsewhere some warm sunny periods and showers, these also locally heavy and thundery, especially across east and southeast England and northeast Scotland. Becoming breezy for most.

    Tonight:

    There'll be further showery rain around tonight, especially over northern, western and central parts. Rather cloudy at times elsewhere, but drier and mild. Staying breezy near coasts.

    Wednesday:

    Cooler, and breezy for most, with large amounts of cloud. Rain, or scattered showers, slowly becoming confined to more eastern parts, with drier, brighter conditions developing later in the west.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Thursday starting chilly for some, but largely dry with sunny spells. Winds easing. Rain in the northwest Friday, clearing east on Saturday. Drier and warm in the south and east.

    Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

    UK Outlook for Saturday 11 Jul 2015 to Monday 20 Jul 2015:

    It will stay dry and warm across much of the south through the weekend, but further north and west it will be more unsettled with some spells of rain. This rain may turn heavy and thundery as it spreads erratically eastwards, before being followed by brighter, fresher weather. Into the following week a period of more generally unsettled weather is expected across the UK. The north and west may be breezy at times, and will have the most frequent periods of rain early next week, while further south and east there will generally be much drier, brighter and often warm conditions. Temperatures will be generally close to or a little above normal, perhaps cooler at times in the northwest and rather warm at times in the southeast at first.

    UK Outlook for Tuesday 21 Jul 2015 to Tuesday 4 Aug 2015:

    A two way split in the weather seems most likely through this period, with southern and central parts staying generally dry, with fine and often warm conditions. Further north and northwest more unsettled and breezy weather will prevail with rain at times, but also some drier brighter interludes. Temperatures are likely to be close to or a little below normal in the north, with the south and southeast often being warm for the time of year.
