Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 2 Sep 2015 to Friday 11 Sep 2015:

A settled start to the period, with dry and bright weather across much of the UK, but with some showers persisting in the far southeast at first. Fine weather is expected to continue through the weekend, but wet and windy conditions should then push into Scotland and northern England. Southeastern areas, in contrast, should see drier weather continue well into the following week. Temperatures will be around or just below normal during the day, although it will feel pleasantly warm with some sunny spells and a light breeze. The temperatures recover to just around normal in the southeast towards mid-September, but staying cool in the north. Overnight temperatures throughout the period are likely to slip below average, with the risk of a localised rural frost and fog patches.

UK Outlook for Saturday 12 Sep 2015 to Saturday 26 Sep 2015:

The northwest is expected to stay unsettled through the remainder of the month, with rain and strong winds likely. Southeastern areas in contrast should see less in the way of rain, and maybe the best of any dry and sunny spells, but with a chance of overnight mist and fog patches. Temperatures should generally be around normal, but with warmer spells under any prolonged sunny periods in the southeast. North and western parts are most likely to see cooler nights throughout with a chance of overnight frosts.
