Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Sunday 3 Jul 2016 to Tuesday 12 Jul 2016:

Remaining changeable and often unsettled for most through this period, with bands of rain expected to push across much of the country, interspersed with sunshine and showers. The wettest weather is always more likely in the north and west where it will occasionally be windy too, whilst the south and east will see the best of any drier and brighter spells along with generally lighter winds. Temperatures on the whole are expected to be near, or slightly below average for the time of year, but feeling cool more generally in the northwest in any wetter and winder spells. Conversely, it will feel warm in any drier and sunnier periods, especially in the south and east.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 13 Jul 2016 to Wednesday 27 Jul 2016:

Changeable conditions are likely to persist at first, with rain or showers across many areas, particularly the north or northwest, and temperatures near average. From around the middle of July there is the possibility that a generally more settled spells of weather may develop, potentially bringing longer dry periods to much of the country. With this change there would be more in the way of sunshine with generally warm temperatures and lighter winds. However there is also the possibility of more humid continental air moving up across the southeast at times, bringing very warm temperatures and a risk of some thundery showers here.
