UK forecast for the next 5 days

Some warm sunshine. Thundery showers in the south and west.

    Today:

Low cloud will become confined towards some coastal areas, to leave many parts dry with some warm sunshine. However, scattered heavy and locally thundery showers are likely to develop across some southern and western areas, especially during the afternoon.

    Tonight:

Heavy showers will ease to leave most areas dry overnight. There will be clear spells, although areas of low cloud and mist are likely, especially across central and eastern parts.

    Sunday:

Mostly dry weather is expected with some warm sunshine. However, a few showers are likely, more especially towards the west and northwest, with cloud thickening in the southeast later.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Monday looks mostly fine in the west. However, wind and rain in the east should move west into central areas. Thereafter, showers or longer spells of rain are generally likely.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 1 Jun 2016 to Friday 10 Jun 2016:

Cloud and outbreaks of rain, some heavy and thundery are likely to still be affecting England and Wales during Wednesday and Thursday, but will gradually move south to be replaced by sunshine and heavy showers. Scotland and Northern Ireland however should be mostly dry with variable amounts of cloud. In the sunnier spells it will feel warm, especially in the west, but North Sea coasts are likely to be rather cool, especially in the brisk northeasterly wind. Thereafter most parts should see a good deal of dry weather, but also some showers, these most likely across the south. Northern and western parts will most likely see the driest, sunniest and warmest conditions, while elsewhere may see the fine weather broken up by some cloudier, cooler days with rain at times.

UK Outlook for Saturday 11 Jun 2016 to Saturday 25 Jun 2016:

Currently it looks likely that generally settled conditions seem more likely at first, but still with a risk of some rain or showers at times, with the best of the drier weather towards the north and northeast of the UK. Towards mid June, there is a chance that more unsettled conditions could become established, bringing some cooler and wetter weather to northern and western parts, while drier, warmer conditions become favoured towards the south and east.
