    Tuesday:

    Mostly dry, with some warm sunny spells likely. However cloud will build through the day, bringing the risk of a few showers later, mainly in the west. Maximum Temperature 18 °C.

    Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

    Generally dry, sunny and locally very warm Wednesday and Thursday, but perhaps also a few showers. More persistent rain likely at times Friday, but also further brighter spells. Turning breezy.

    Dry today with sunshine for many. Becoming unsettled this week.

    Today:

    Patchy fog and frost will clear readily this morning, to leave another fine and mostly sunny day. Some parts will however see more cloud that at the weekend, particularly across central and eastern areas. Feeling warm again in the sunshine.

    Tonight:

    Staying dry but turning chilly with clear spells, particularly across western Scotland and parts of southern England and Wales. Elsewhere cloudier with some mist and fog, especially across the north-east.

    Tuesday:

    Becoming cloudier with showery outbreaks of rain spreading across many southern and central parts, perhaps turning heavy and thundery. Some sunshine as well and feeling notably warmer in the east.

    Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

    Turning more unsettled, particularly in the north and west with showers or longer spells of rain, interspersed with some warm sunshine. Breezier for most, particularly on Wednesday and Thursday.

    Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

    UK Outlook for Friday 31 Mar 2017 to Sunday 9 Apr 2017:

    A rather more changeable and breezy pattern will be established across the UK by Friday, with rain slowly clearing eastern counties through the day. Sunshine and showers following this clearance; these continuing through Saturday, turning heavy and blustery at times in the north. Over the next few days, we'll see further unsettled weather in the northwest, with outbreaks of rain and occasional showers. Some brighter spells are also possible here, but it will be often windy, with gales at times. Meanwhile, the driest and brightest conditions are expected in the south and east, where it will feel pleasantly warm. However, we are likely to see a good deal of settled and dry weather becoming established across the UK towards the end of the period though, especially in the south.

    UK Outlook for Monday 10 Apr 2017 to Monday 24 Apr 2017:

    Much of this period will see a good deal of settled and dry weather across the UK. We are however likely to see unsettled conditions with cloud, rain and strong winds particularly affecting the far north and west of the UK at times. Such unsettled spells of weather are expected to be short-lived though. Temperatures are likely to be warmer than average, but with rather chilly nights at times, with frost and fog in places. Any colder spells are likely to be short-lived too, although there are slight indications that these may become more prevalent later in the month.
