Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 6 Jul 2016 to Friday 15 Jul 2016:

Conditions look to remain on the changeable side and often rather unsettled as bands of cloud and rain try to push eastwards across the UK, these interspersed with drier and brighter periods with sunshine but also some showers. In general the wettest weather is most likely to occur across the west and northwest, where it will also be windy at times, while the south and east is favoured to see the best of any more prolonged drier and brighter spells, more especially towards the middle of the month. The temperature is expected to be mostly on the cool side for the time of year, particularly in western and northern parts. However it will feel warmer in any drier, sunnier periods, especially in the south and east.

UK Outlook for Saturday 16 Jul 2016 to Saturday 30 Jul 2016:

It is likely that the changeable weather will persist for many parts of the UK through the second half of July, with spells of rain pushing in from the west, interspersed by drier spells with sunshine, but still some showers. The wettest and most unsettled conditions are most likely across north-western parts, whilst the southeast should see more in the way of the drier and brighter weather, however there is also a chance of more humid continental air moving up across the south and southeast at times, which would bring very warm temperatures and perhaps a risk of some thundery showers. Temperatures will generally be close to, or below normal for the time of year, but with some warm, or very warm conditions possible in the south at times.
