Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Monday 12 Oct 2015 to Wednesday 21 Oct 2015:

Initially it looks likely that northwestern areas will be rather cloudy with rain or showers at times whereas further south and east it will be generally drier and brighter. However it will feel rather chilly across the south of the UK as a fresh easterly breeze develops. As we go through next week the most likely scenario will be for eastern then southern areas to be unsettled at times with central and northern Britain more likely to be drier and brighter. By the following weekend onwards there is currently much uncertainty but the latest indications are for rain or showers at times, mainly in the south, with the north more likely to be drier. Temperatures will probably be around or slightly below average.

UK Outlook for Thursday 22 Oct 2015 to Thursday 5 Nov 2015:

Things look very uncertain for the remainder of October and into early November, although there are likely to be further spells of rain or showers. Initially these remain most likely across southern parts, although there will probably be a gradual trend to more of a west east split. Western areas will therefore become more at risk of seeing the wettest and most unsettled conditions with the best of the drier, brighter weather most likely to turn up in the east and southeast. Temperatures will probably balance out close to or slightly below average, but with the possibility of some chilly nights in the more settled spells which could give rural frosts.
