Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 2 Aug 2016 to Thursday 11 Aug 2016:

After a chilly start in places on Tuesday, many will see a dry morning with bright or sunny spells, though there will also be a few showers around. By the end of the day rain will spread in from the west marking a return to more changeable conditions. There will likely be a mixture of further spells of rain spreading east, interspersed by drier and brighter periods through until mid August. Northwestern parts are most likely to see the heaviest rain and strongest winds, whereas the southeast is favoured for seeing the best of the drier and brighter weather. Temperatures at first are expected to be slightly below average, but as we move into the more changeable conditions, temperatures will generally average out around normal for the time of year.

UK Outlook for Friday 12 Aug 2016 to Friday 26 Aug 2016:

The generally changeable conditions across much of the UK are likely to continue through the middle part of August. Further spells of rain are expected to push in from the west, interspersed with drier, brighter and warmer periods, but also with some showers. Northern and northwestern parts will generally see the wettest weather, with the south and southeast seeing the most lengthy dry and fine spells. Temperatures will probably average out around normal, with warmer weather in the more settled periods, but also some cooler days in any wind and rain.
