Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Saturday 7 May 2016 to Monday 16 May 2016:

During the weekend a gradual change to more unsettled conditions is likely. On Saturday a band of heavy, thundery showers are expected to move up from the south, affecting south-western parts initially, before extending to most remaining parts of the country through the weekend. North-eastern parts will keep the fine weather for the longest, however mist, fog or low cloud may develop around the coasts at times. Changeable conditions will then continue through next week, with most places seeing showers or longer spells of rain at times. Drier, brighter weather will separate the wetter spells, and it should feel fairly warm on these days with temperatures slightly above normal. There's a continued risk of mist around eastern coasts.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 17 May 2016 to Tuesday 31 May 2016:

Through the second half of May, the most likely scenario is for mixed conditions to persist across all areas at first. Showers or longer spells of rain will be interspersed with some drier and brighter spells. Despite this, temperatures are likely to be near or above average with some warm days likely in any sunshine. Later in the month a subtle change in the weather pattern may lead to cooler and more unsettled conditions across northern and western parts while southern and eastern areas could see longer dry periods develop and warmer temperatures at times.
