Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 19 Sep 2014 to Sunday 28 Sep 2014:

It should remain largely settled and dry for most of the period, with sunny spells and variable cloud. The best of the bright weather will likely be in south and west through Friday where it may be warm or very warm, whilst the north and northeast may be cloudier with some patchy rain. The fine weather should persist through the weekend and into the following week, with temperatures staying around or above average and feeling warm in any sunny spells. There is a chance of some showers in the southwest at times, but these will be isolated. It may turn windy and more changeable in the northwest towards the end of next week, with an increasing risk of showers or spells of rain, but the southeast should mostly remain fine.

UK Outlook for Monday 29 Sep 2014 to Monday 13 Oct 2014:

The end of September and early October is likely to see more changeable conditions across the UK, with a mixture of fine and settled weather, interspersed with occasional unsettled spells. The drier and brighter conditions, with some warm sunshine, is then expected to be most prolonged across the south and east, whilst outbreaks of rain would then be most frequent across the north and west. During the more settled conditions daytime temperatures are then likely to be around and often above average, although chilly overnight with a risk of fog patches in places. However during any unsettled spells daytime temperatures are then likely to be below or close to average.
