    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Cold and dry Sunday and Monday, with some sunny periods, but also overnight frost and fog. Tuesday will start similar, before clouds thicken and winds strengthen from the west later.

UK forecast for the next 5 days

    Cloudy with light rain overnight.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday and Monday will start frosty for many, with patchy fog slowly clearing. There'll be sunny spells into Monday but Tuesday will be much cloudier with rain in the west.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 7 Dec 2016 to Friday 16 Dec 2016:

On Wednesday, wet and windy weather will arrive in Northern Ireland, western Scotland, north-west England and North Wales and gradually spread further south and east. As it does so, the wind and rain will gradually ease so the south-east may well stay dry during Wednesday. The wet weather is likely to edge further southwards at times so there is likely to be a spell of wetter and breezier weather even in the south-east for a time. It will become significantly milder across the country with much less frost than recently. Into the next week, this milder, wetter and windier theme is likely to continue, but in general, winds will be stronger and rain will be heavier in the north-west, whereas the south-east will stay drier and quieter.

UK Outlook for Saturday 17 Dec 2016 to Saturday 31 Dec 2016:

After a milder, rather unsettled interlude in the middle of the month especially in the north, more settled weather may return as high pressure builds in for the second half of December, and re-establishes more widely across the UK. However, this build of pressure is quite uncertain. If it happens, it would bring drier than average conditions again for most areas with lighter winds and an increased risk of local frost and fog, especially where skies remain clear overnight. On balance, unsettled spells look slightly less likely and temperatures will probably be generally colder than average.
