Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Sunday 2 Aug 2015 to Tuesday 11 Aug 2015:

Many places fine and dry on Sunday with some sunny spells, especially across central and eastern parts. Cloud and rain though is likely to move into western parts later, before making erratic progress east during Monday, although the southeast may stay dry, with just a small chance of a thunderstorm. Temperatures near normal for many, but perhaps becoming very warm in the southeast for a time. Thereafter, the changeable conditions are likely to continue, with the north most likely to see the most frequent spells of wind and rain, with southern areas seeing the best of any drier and settled weather. Temperatures are likely to be near or just below normal in the north, and most likely near normal in the south, however some warmer spells are possible at times.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 12 Aug 2015 to Wednesday 26 Aug 2015:

There are signals for a continuation of a north-south spilt in the weather during the middle of August. The north is likely to see the most frequent spells of wind and rain, with the best of the drier and more settled conditions in the south, although some outbreaks of rain are likely to reach here at times. Temperatures on the whole will be near or a little below average for the time of year, especially in the north, although in any settled spells of weather in the south temperatures may become rather warm at times.
