    After a chilly start, a dry day will follow with some warm sunny periods and light winds. The sunshine may become hazy later as high cloud spreads eastwards. Maximum Temperature 10C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Rather cloudy and windy over the weekend and into Monday, with some rain possible at times throughout, separated by some brief brighter interludes. Mild over the weekend, especially overnight.

    This Evening and Tonight:

    A few showers will linger across north-western Scotland and cloud will likely persist across East Anglia, otherwise most places will be dry with clear spells and patchy frost. However, cloud will start to increase across western Britain by dawn.


    It will become increasingly cloudy from the west with outbreaks of rain across south-western areas of the UK and northwest Scotland. The best of the sunshine likely across north-eastern Scotland.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    An unsettled and often windy period with gales likely at times. Outbreaks of rain are likely on most days, heaviest and most frequent across northern and western Britain.

    UK Outlook for Tuesday 31 Mar 2015 to Thursday 9 Apr 2015:

    Unsettled, generally windy with a risk risk of gales, or severe gales, in the north and west, especially Tuesday. A rain band will clear southeastwards through Tuesday, followed by sunshine and blustery showers, most frequent in the northwest where they could turn wintry. Drier Wednesday, although further wind and rain likely returning from the west. Temperatures mild in the south, but colder in the north. Then generally remaining changeable through the remainder of next week and into Easter with spells of wind , rain and showers, mainly across northwestern parts, interspersed by drier brighter conditions, particularly in the south. Showers in the north, possibly wintry over hills at times. Temperatures near average in the south but below in the north with overnight frosts likely here, possibly locally in the south also.

    UK Outlook for Friday 10 Apr 2015 to Friday 24 Apr 2015:

    The changeable period will probably continue, with unsettled conditions interspersed with some spells of fine weather. Current indications are that westerly regime will persist allowing showers or longer spells of rain to affect the UK at times, with northwestern parts likely seeing the most frequent bouts of unsettled weather. There will likely be some drier, more settled periods too, predominantly across the south and east; but across all parts at times. There will therefore probably be a wide range in temperatures with some warmer days, but also some cold nights, with a continued risk of frosts; especially in the north. By mid-April, signals become very uncertain.
