UK Outlook for Wednesday 4 May 2016 to Friday 13 May 2016:
A north-south split is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, with strong winds, showers and longer spells of rain in the north and drier and sunnier conditions in the south. These conditions are likely to continue into the weekend with spells of rain and brief drier, brighter interludes in the northwest. Southern and eastern parts seeing the best of the settled conditions, but still a risk of seeing showery, thundery conditions spreading in at times. Some uncertainty into the following week, though similar conditions likely to continue. Temperatures close to average for most, perhaps a little below at first still in the north and warmest in the south and southeast so feeling warmer than of late.

UK Outlook for Saturday 14 May 2016 to Saturday 28 May 2016:
Through the second half of May, the most likely scenario is for unsettled weather across western and northwestern parts to continue, with showers or longer spells of rain but also some bright or sunny spells too. Although the best of any drier and brighter weather should be across southern and southeastern parts, there still remains a risk of rain or showers at times. Temperatures are likely to stay near average, but it will feel warm on the sunnier days, especially in the south.
