Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 3 Jun 2016 to Sunday 12 Jun 2016:

This period starts with high pressure to the northwest of the UK and lower pressure to the southeast. This will bring generally dry, settled weather to most areas, especially the north and west, where it will be warm. Easterly winds will be frequent feature and they may become brisk, at times, in eastern coastal areas, bringing cloud, mist and patchy drizzle from the North Sea, making it cooler here. For the south, where pressure will generally be lower, it may be humid and cloudy at times with a risk of showers and perhaps thunder. By mid-week conditions may start to become unsettled from the southwest, with showers or longer spells of rain trying to push in. Temperatures then becoming slightly cooler in the west but warmer for the east coast.

Meanwhile warmer drier more settled conditions are favoured in the south and east, although rain or showers may still feature at times.
