    Tonight:

    Staying dry, and mainly clear. However, areas of low cloud and hill fog will develop across The Peak District through the night. Minimum Temperature 12 °C.

    Wednesday:

    Early hill fog across The Peak District will gradually disperse, leaving periods of strong sunshine. It will become very warm, although along the Lincolnshire coast cool sea-breezes will eventually develop. Maximum Temperature 24 °C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Generally dry, very warm or hot, with large amounts of often strong sunshine. However, Saturday there is an increasing chance of thundery showers arriving. Coastal areas becoming breezy and cooler.

    Largely dry today with some warm sunny spells for most. However, skies will be cloudier in the southwest with mist and fog over hills and along some coasts. Outbreaks of rain in the far northwest at times.

    Tonight:

    Staying generally dry overnight, apart from patchy rain in the northwest. Skies turning cloudier across western parts with widespread hill fog.

    Wednesday:

    Patchy rain in the far northwest will gradually ease through the day. Dry elsewhere with patchy cloud and sunny spells, but coastal fog persisting along some southern coasts.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Dry at first with increasing amounts of sunshine, and becoming very warm or hot for many. However, an increasing chance of thundery showers moving into western areas on Saturday.

    UK Outlook for Saturday 27 May 2017 to Monday 5 Jun 2017:

    The sunny and very warm or hot conditions are likely to hold on in many eastern and south-eastern parts during the Bank Holiday weekend. However, we will already begin to see a thundery breakdown pushing in across northern and western parts during Saturday. Perhaps turning fresher, with drier and brighter weather moving into western parts on Sunday and Monday. A brief settled spell of weather is likely to follow, before we see unsettled conditions developing into the first week of June, with a mixture of sunshine and showers or longer spells of rain with strong winds, mainly in the north and west. Temperatures generally returning closer to normal, although in any sunshine it will become rather warm at times.

    Confidence in the forecast remains low into early June, but on balance the first full week of June looks set to remain unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain, interspersed with some drier and brighter weather. By the middle of June, more settled weather may begin to dominate bringing drier and brighter weather. Temperatures are likely to be close to normal during the start of this period, but as more settled weather arrives it is likely that it will turn warmer and may become very warm in places.
