Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Monday 3 Aug 2015 to Wednesday 12 Aug 2015:

A fine start in the east on Monday, but cloud and rain will spread erratically north and eastwards through the day. Isolated thunderstorms may also affect the far southeast for a time. Temperatures are likely to be above normal for many, and potentially very warm or hot in the southeast. Cloud and rain will clear through all but the far northeast by Tuesday, with much fresher, showery conditions developing behind. Thereafter, changeable conditions are likely to continue, with the north most likely to see more frequent spells of wind and rain, and southern areas seeing the best of any drier and settled weather. Temperatures are likely to be near or just below normal in the north, and most likely near normal in the south, however some warmer spells are possible.

UK Outlook for Thursday 13 Aug 2015 to Thursday 27 Aug 2015:

There are signals for a continuation of a north-south spilt in the weather during the middle of August. The north is likely to see the most frequent spells of wind and rain, with the best of the drier and more settled conditions in the south, although some outbreaks of rain are likely to reach here at times. Temperatures on the whole will be near or a little below average for the time of year, especially in the north, although in any settled spells of weather in the south temperatures may become rather warm at times.
