Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 10 Mar 2015 to Thursday 19 Mar 2015:

Widespread, locally heavy, rain and strong winds, mainly in the north, will clear north-eastwards through Tuesday morning. More settled conditions will then develop for a time with a cold, locally frosty night to follow, especially in the north. Further outbreaks of rain, locally heavy, with strengthening winds will then spread across the UK early Wednesday before becoming drier again later on. From Thursday there looks to be generally more settled conditions across most parts of the UK as high pressure remains close to the east. However, occasional weather systems will likely still bring cloudier interludes with rain, mainly to northern and western parts. Away from cloud and rain temperatures will often be near or above average leaving conditions often feeling pleasant in sunshine.

UK Outlook for Friday 20 Mar 2015 to Friday 3 Apr 2015:

It looks probable that pressure will remain higher than average across the UK at first. This would bring generally drier than average conditions, but it is likely that there could also be some cloud at times, with some occasional rain or showers, particularly across the north. There are signs that more of a northwest-southeast split will develop in late March with wetter than average conditions probably developing in the northwest, whilst drier conditions and higher than average pressure perhaps persist in the southeast.
