Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 30 Mar 2017 to Saturday 8 Apr 2017:

A rather more changeable and breezy pattern will be established across the UK during Thursday, particularly for the north and west, with some heavy rain probable here. The driest and brightest conditions are expected in eastern and southern areas of the UK, where it will feel pleasantly warm. By the weekend, we'll continue to see unsettled conditions across the UK, with bands of rain moving west to east, interspersed by brighter and showery interludes. It'll be often windy, particularly in the north and northwest, with gales at times. We are likely to see a good deal of settled and dry weather becoming established across the UK towards the end of the period though, especially in the south.

UK Outlook for Sunday 9 Apr 2017 to Sunday 23 Apr 2017:

Much of this period will see a good deal of settled and dry weather across the UK. We are however likely to see unsettled conditions with cloud, rain and strong winds affecting the far north and west of the UK at times, particularly at the start of the period. Such unsettled spells of weather are expected to be short-lived though. Temperatures are likely to be warmer than average, but with rather chilly nights at times, with frost and fog in places. Any colder spells are likely to be short-lived too, although there are slight indications that these may become more prevalent later in the month.
