    Any showers across the Galloway Hills will gradually die away this evening with the best of the late sunshine in west. Low cloud and mist along some North Sea coasts will edge inland across the Lothians and Borders overnight. Minimum Temperature 7 °C.

    Sunday:

    Low cloud and mist burning back to east coast where some may linger. Otherwise bright with sunny spells, with isolated heavy showers across Galloway hills. Light winds. Maximum Temperature 20 °C.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

    Mist in east lifting Monday then mainly dry, some sunshine, west warm. Tuesday starting bright and warm in west, then rain spreading from east. More heavy rain on Wednesday.

    Heavy showers and thunderstorms easing, but maybe lingering in the southwest for a time. Clear spells developing with some mist or fog patches forming, especially along the east coast.

    Sunday:

    Mainly dry, with warm sunny spells for most, but some isolated showers, particularly in the north and west. Turning cloudier in the southeast later, maybe with some spots of rain.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

    Fine and sunny in west on Monday, but wind and rain pushing westwards to affect many parts through Tuesday. Wet and windy in the north on Wednesday, showers elsewhere.

    UK Outlook for Thursday 2 Jun 2016 to Saturday 11 Jun 2016:

    Cloud and rain, locally heavy, especially over northeastern England and southern Scotland possible through Thursday and Friday. Sunshine and showers are likely further south, with western Scotland and Northern Ireland seeing rain later. As we move through next weekend, many places could see dry spells, although further thundery showers are possible, especially in the south. Northern parts should have the driest, brightest weather, with some prolonged sunny spells. Eastern areas probably feeling cooler with plenty of cloud and a brisk easterly breeze. Towards the end of the period some rain or showers are possible across most parts, with the east seeing the driest weather. Temperatures probably coolest along northeastern coasts at first, with warmer conditions elsewhere. Later in the period warmer conditions are likely to reach all areas.

    Starting mainly dry in the east and northeast at first, but most areas seeing some rain or showers at times. Towards mid-June there is a signal for more unsettled weather to develop, with northwestern areas seeing wetter and windier weather, while warmer conditions are favoured in the south and east.
