Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 28 Apr 2017 to Sunday 7 May 2017:

Friday is looking to have a north-west to south-east split across the country. Wet weather is fairly likely across northern and western parts with the best of the dry and bright weather further south-east, though even here the odd shower can't be ruled out at times. Temperatures will continue to recover to near average across the country. Into next weekend, more unsettled conditions are likely, especially in the north and west, with the best of any drier and brighter spells once again in the south-east. As we move into the first week of May, western and northern areas may continue to be rather unsettled whereas southern and eastern parts should be drier, brighter and feeling warmer.

UK Outlook for Monday 8 May 2017 to Monday 22 May 2017:

As we move through May high pressure appears more likely to be dominant through the majority of the period, meaning that below average rainfall is most probable during this time. However, low pressure may bring the possibility of less settled conditions at times, especially across western and northern areas. Temperatures are likely to be average or slightly above average. This will mean that we should lose the risk of frosts, and it will feel warm at times.
