Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 2 May 2017 to Thursday 11 May 2017:

Any showers on Tuesday should become lighter for many, but some may linger in the south east. Elsewhere it will be largely dry and bright, with some sunshine. Wednesday is likely to be dry with some sunshine for many, and temperatures next week are expected to be around average for early May, meaning we will lose the risk of overnight frosts. Then from Thursday onwards we are likely to see high pressure dominate. Easterly winds will develop, with largely dry and settled weather prevailing, and increasing amounts of sunshine. The settled weather is also likely to bring temperatures slightly above average, especially during the sunnier interludes, but it will feel cooler along eastern coasts, and there will be the risk of sea fog at times here too.

UK Outlook for Friday 12 May 2017 to Friday 26 May 2017:

Heading into the middle of May, continued dry and settled weather remains most probable. There may however be some occasional wetter interludes though, with the south most likely to see these. Temperatures are likely to remain above average for the time of year, and they will possibly become very warm at times. It will also continue to be drier than average.
