UK forecast for the next 5 days

Mostly dry with some sunshine, but showers in the northwest.

    This Evening and Tonight:

The rain in the far northwest may edge a little further southeastwards. Elsewhere clearer skies or thinning higher cloud will allow for temperatures to dip and for some patchy fog to form. Brisk and cool easterly winds developing.

Cloudy and breezy with showers or longer spells of rain in the far north. Drier further south with sunny spells, but chilly in the brisk easterly winds.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Largely dry through the beginning of the week with sunny spells for most. Staying breezy, and feeling cooler than average for many, particularly in the south and east.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 15 Oct 2015 to Saturday 24 Oct 2015:

High pressure looks to remain close to the UK for much of this period and settled but cool weather should continue. Most places will be dry with a mix of sunshine and scattered cloud, although a few light showers, brought in on the cool breeze, may pepper windward coastal areas at times. For the far north, however, occasional weak fronts drift in from the Atlantic, bringing cloud and patchy rain here, these may also move south at times increasing cloud amounts. Temperatures are likely to be below average with clear overnight skies leading to frosty mornings in many areas, and mist or fog over fields and in valleys. Towards the very end of this period there is an increasing chance that unsettled weather will move in from the northwest.

UK Outlook for Sunday 25 Oct 2015 to Sunday 8 Nov 2015:

The weather for the end of October and into early November looks rather uncertain at this stage with a number of possibilities across the UK at this time. The most probable trend, however, is for the northwest of the UK to see the bulk of any wet and windy weather, with the southeast drier and more settled, although here there are still likely to be occasional showers or spells of rain. Temperatures look likely to be around the seasonal average, with milder spells interspersed by cooler showery outbreaks.
