    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Mainly dry on Saturday and Sunday with sunny spells and a few showers. Milder with strengthening southeasterly winds. More uncertain on Monday with possibly some rain edging up from south.

    Today's patchy rain will clear southwards tonight and will mostly ease. Clear spells will develop for many eastern areas, and we could see a few showers along the east coast. A patchy frost is likely in the north and east.

    Friday:

    Friday will be largely dry, with some bright or sunny spells. A few showers will continue along eastern coasts though, and some showers may develop inland by midday too.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Saturday mostly dry and bright, however becoming windy in the west. Rain arriving from the southwest Sunday, with some heavy outbreaks, moving erratically north-eastwards into Scotland and northeast England Monday.

    UK Outlook for Tuesday 2 May 2017 to Thursday 11 May 2017:

    Any showers on Tuesday should become lighter for many, but some may linger in the south east. Elsewhere it will be largely dry and bright, with some sunshine. Wednesday is likely to be dry with some sunshine for many, and temperatures next week are expected to be around average for early May, meaning we will lose the risk of overnight frosts. Then from Thursday onwards we are likely to see high pressure dominate. Easterly winds will develop, with largely dry and settled weather prevailing, and increasing amounts of sunshine. The settled weather is also likely to bring temperatures slightly above average, especially during the sunnier interludes, but it will feel cooler along eastern coasts, and there will be the risk of sea fog at times here too.

    UK Outlook for Friday 12 May 2017 to Friday 26 May 2017:

    Heading into the middle of May, continued dry and settled weather remains most probable. There may however be some occasional wetter interludes though, with the south most likely to see these. Temperatures are likely to remain above average for the time of year, and they will possibly become very warm at times. It will also continue to be drier than average.
