    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Mainly fine on Friday, with just isolated showers. Dry on Saturday with some warm sunny spells, though becoming cloudier and breezy later, with outbreaks of rain during Sunday.

    Today:

    A fine, though breezy, start for many with sunny spells. Showery rain mainly across Northern Ireland at first will gradually spread northeastwards into Scotland, whilst cloud increases to bring scattered showery outbreaks across England and Wales.

    Tonight:

    Heavier showers slowly clearing from the south, becoming largely confined to the northeast of Scotland by dawn. Generally cloudy, damp and mild elsewhere with winds falling light.

    Thursday:

    Often cloudy at first though soon brightening up with plenty of dry, sunny weather, and only isolated showers developing. Feeling warmer than of late with mainly light winds.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Largely fine Friday and Saturday, with isolated showers. Rain arriving in the north and west later Saturday and during Sunday, though gradually easing. Drier with warm sunshine in the southeast.

    UK Outlook for Sunday 9 Aug 2015 to Tuesday 18 Aug 2015:

    Sunday will be mainly dry, bright and warm in the south, while northern and central areas will be rather cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain at times. It will also be windy in the north especially in the northwest, where gales are possible in exposed areas. A similar theme will prevail thereafter, with the north and west having the more unsettled, wetter, windier conditions, although there will be some drier, brighter interludes here at times. The south, meanwhile, will see a good deal of dry, bright weather throughout the period, albeit with a small chance of cloudier intervals. Temperatures will range from near normal in the north and northwest, to warm, or very warm at times, in the south and southeast.

    UK Outlook for Wednesday 19 Aug 2015 to Wednesday 2 Sep 2015:

    Southern and eastern parts will continue to see the best of any dry and bright spells, with northern areas likely to see more in the way of cloudier, showery weather. However, the north is also likely to see some spells of more settled, drier and brighter weather and the south could still see the occasional brief showery interlude. Temperatures will generally be near normal in the north, but could be locally warm in any brighter periods. The south will generally be warm, with some periods of very warm weather possible.
