    There will be some sunshine on Monday but also showers, which could be heavy at times. Maximum Temperature 20 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Sunshine and showers are also likely on Tuesday, when it will be a little cooler. Wednesday and Thursday will be warm again, but cloudier with longer spells of rain.

    Most places will start dry and sunny but showery rain will affect many western parts during the day. The south and east of England will stay dry and warm all day.

    Tonight:

    Rain across northern areas will become confined to the far north by midnight. Temperatures will be mild again, especially in the south.

    Monday:

    Monday will see sunshine, but also showers concentrated in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Northern England. The Midlands and south of England will probably stay dry with cooler temperatures.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Tuesday will also see sunny spells, with showers mainly affecting north-western parts. On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a mixture of sunshine, showers and longer spells of rain.

    UK Outlook for Friday 29 Jul 2016 to Sunday 7 Aug 2016:

    Cloud and outbreaks of rain will clear the southeast on Friday to leave cooler and fresher conditions, with sunshine and showers. Showers will be heaviest and most frequent in the northwest and more isolated in the southeast. The remainder of the period is likely to stay rather changeable, with a mixture of cooler and brighter but showery spells and milder and cloudier conditions with outbreaks of rain. Northwestern parts will see the heaviest of the rain along with the strongest winds, whereas the southeast will get the best of the drier and brighter weather. Temperatures should be largely around average, but cooler at times in the northwest and occasionally warm and humid in the southeast.

    UK Outlook for Monday 8 Aug 2016 to Monday 22 Aug 2016:

    The strongest signal is for the weather across the UK to stay rather changeable throughout this period. There are likely to be warm and settled periods, but also bands of rain, along with spells of sunshine and showers. Most of the rain is likely to be in the north and northwest, with the south and southeast expected to see more of the drier and settled conditions. There is a small chance that a more prolonged spell of warm and settled conditions could develop for a time during mid-August, but confidence in this is current low. Temperatures will probably average out around normal, with some warmer and cooler days likely.
