UK Outlook for Saturday 1 Aug 2015 to Monday 10 Aug 2015:
Many places fine and dry on Saturday with some sunny spells, but also a continued risk of a few showers around, most likely in the north and east. Towards Sunday another band of rain will probably spread in from the west, heaviest and most persistent in the northwest where strong winds are also a possibility. Likely to stay unsettled during the first half of next week, with further bouts of rain and some strong winds possible, but it will always be driest in the southeast. The trend is then for things to settle down as we go through next weekend. Temperatures for the most part will be near or below normal, especially in the north, but a trend towards warmer conditions is expected in the south towards next week.
UK Outlook for Tuesday 11 Aug 2015 to Tuesday 25 Aug 2015:
There are signals for more settled and generally drier conditions to predominate for much of the UK through this period, but more especially in the south and east. However, there is still a chance that some spells of more unsettled weather could push in from the west at times, most likely being confined to northern and western parts of the UK. Temperatures on the whole will be near or a little below average for the time of year, with any very warm or hot weather across southern areas probably brief in nature.
