Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Friday 10 Jul 2015 to Sunday 19 Jul 2015:

Fine, dry and warm across many parts of the UK on Friday, although occasional rain will affect the far northwest. The fine, dry and warm weather could hang on in the far southeast of the country until the end of next weekend, but otherwise turning more unsettled with rain, perhaps heavy and thundery, spreading slowly and erratically east. This then heralds a change to a more unsettled interlude next week, with bands of rain and showers affecting most parts at times. However, the heaviest and more frequent spells of rain will tend to be in the northwest, with southern and eastern parts of the UK still having some spells of dry, bright and warm weather.

UK Outlook for Monday 20 Jul 2015 to Monday 3 Aug 2015:

For the rest of July and into the early part of August the pattern of warm, dry spells interspersed with relatively short-lived more unsettled spells of weather, which has dominated so far this summer, is most likely to continue. Frequent spells of rain and showers are most probable in the north and west, with a good deal of fine, dry weather likely further south and east. Overall temperatures are likely to be on the warm side of average and there could be occasional spells of hot weather, especially in the south and east. Generally probably drier than average for many parts of the UK, but there is still a risk of some heavy showers or thunderstorms, especially in the warmer spells of weather.
