    Thundery rain clearing eastwards during the early hours of Friday with clear skies moving in from the west. Light winds allowing the odd mist patch to form by dawn. Minimum Temperature 10 °C.

    Friday:

    Some patchy low cloud near the coast and mist inland will soon clear to leave a mostly fine day with long sunny periods and light winds. Turning warm again. Maximum Temperature 21 °C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Saturday and Sunday: Unsettled with scattered showers, turning thundery at times and merging into longer periods of rain. Monday should see fewer showers, feeling cooler in brisk northwesterly wind.

    Today:

    Becoming mostly dry this morning then thundery showers developing during the afternoon. Less hot than Wednesday in the southeast of England but still very warm. Sunny spells and showers in the northwest.

    Tonight:

    Thundery rain will clear eastwards across England and Wales tonight. Meanwhile, showery rain, heavy at times, will affect parts of Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Dry with clear spells elsewhere.

    Friday:

    Early showers clearing the southeast, then mostly dry with sunny spells for most. Some heavy showers in the northwest. Warm in the southeast.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Heavy and perhaps thundery rain moving northwards on Saturday, becoming warm and humid. Rain clearing eastwards Sunday. Brighter and fresher with some scattered showers on Monday. Warm in the sunshine.

    Outbreaks of rain are expected to spread into the north and west on Tuesday, but the south and east should stay mainly dry with sunny spells. The rain should move southeastwards during Wednesday and Thursday, but it is likely to become light and patchy. Temperatures will be warm in the southeast, but nearer normal temperatures in the northwest are likely to spread across all parts. The weather through the rest of the period is likely to be changeable with showers or longer spells of rain, interspersed by some dry and brighter periods. The best of the brighter weather occurring in the southeast, with some wet and windy spells at times in the northwest. Temperatures will be generally near normal although there is the chance of some temporary warmer spells.
