Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Wednesday 22 Apr 2015 to Friday 1 May 2015:

Through Wednesday and Thursday next week conditions are going to remain generally fine and dry with good sunny spells across the UK. Any showers or outbreaks of rain are going to be very isolated and largely confined to coastal parts. Nights will be chilly with a risk of rural frost whilst daytime temperatures should still be above normal and locally warm inland, though it will feel a little cooler in the south where there will be more of a breeze. Through the following weekend and the week after we are likely to have a transition to more changeable and unsettled conditions from the west/southwest with some wet weather expected. It will become much windier and also cooler than recently, with temperatures being suppressed a little below normal.

UK Outlook for Saturday 2 May 2015 to Saturday 16 May 2015:

There are signals for the unsettled and cooler conditions to last for the first few days of the peiod. Thereafter predictability becomes very limited as such conditiions should be fairly typical for the time of year. Some wet weather is likely at times along with some drier and brighter periods, perhaps the best of these towards the south and east. Daytime temperatures will probably range close to average during unsettled weather to above average when conditions are fine, and it will feel pleasantly warm in the sunnier spells as a result. As is common for the time of year, settled spells may be accompanied by chilly evenings with some isolated overnight frost in rural areas.
