    A dry start to the evening with some clear spells. Cloud and outbreaks of rain then spreading north through the early hours to affect all parts by dawn. These will be heavy at times, with perhaps a rumble of thunder. Minimum Temperature 11 °C.

    Monday:

    Overnight rain will continue through much of the day, with occasional heavy bursts. Rain slowly clearing to the north through the evening, but still with an odd heavier shower possible. Maximum Temperature 21 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Band of rain pushing east across the region, with some brighter spellls later in the day. Fine and dry through Wednesday and Thursday, feeling warm in light winds.

    This Evening and Tonight:

    Rain, locally torrential and thundery, will spread northwards affecting some southern and central areas this evening and overnight. Feeling muggy in the south. Dry across the far north of Scotland. However, rain will reach Northern Ireland and southern Scotland later.

    Monday:

    Sporadic rain across central areas continues to move north to affect most of Scotland. Southern England and Wales may brighten up. Further thundery showers may reach the southeast later.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    A weakening rain-band will move southeastwards on Tuesday. Perhaps windy in the north. Wednesday and Thursday look more settled with some warm sunshine. Further rain in the west later Thursday.

    UK Outlook for Friday 2 Jun 2017 to Sunday 11 Jun 2017:

    Cloud and rain affecting northern and western parts on Friday, with clearer, sunnier conditions expected in central and eastern areas. These moving east later and may affect the UK thorugh the weekend. Still rather warm and humid in the southeast, with some thundery showers likely to develop. Through the rest of the period, we are likely to see a more changeable pattern becoming established across the United Kingdom, with northern and western parts seeing spells of rain at times. Meanwhile, many southern and eastern parts should be drier and brighter, with any spells of rain that do spread southeastwards likely to be fairly weak. Windy at times, especially in the northwest. Temperatures are likely to be near normal in the north and west, but warm in the south and east.

    UK Outlook for Monday 12 Jun 2017 to Monday 26 Jun 2017:

    Confidence is low during this period, although we are likely to see the changeable pattern continuing across the United Kingdom through the period, with a predominately west or southwesterly flow. The unsettled conditions mainly affecting northern and western parts early on, but gradually these look likely to spread southeastwards, with temperatures near normal. By late June confidence remains low, although on balance we are likely to see a continuation of the changeable conditions for many, with temperatures remaining near the average. However, there is a low probability of a more settled and perhaps warmer spell of weather possible around mid-June, mainly in the southeast.
