Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Thursday 4 Jun 2015 to Saturday 13 Jun 2015:

Mostly fine and dry on Thursday and Friday with long periods of sunshine for most of the UK and temperatures warmer than of late. A few light showers are possible in the far north, and later some heavy and thundery showers may develop across southern parts. A similar story into the weekend with some very warm conditions developing but equally the risk of thunderstorms in the south. Despite the warmer weather, a brisk wind is likely in the south and far north at times. Into the second week of June, it looks set to remain mostly dry and warm across the north of the UK. It also remains very warm across the south, but with a continuing chance of heavy, thundery showers.

UK Outlook for Sunday 14 Jun 2015 to Sunday 28 Jun 2015:

High pressure looks as though it will be established across the north of the UK during much of this period. This will bring fine and dry conditions to most parts with warm conditions across the north, and especially the northwest. It is also expected to be very warm in the south, although here there is a risk of some heavy and thundery showers spreading up from continental Europe. Confidence in the forecast evolution declines towards the end of June; however, the general trend looks set to remain similar, with drier conditions in the north, some showers possible in the south, and generally warm temperatures.
