Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Saturday 27 May 2017 to Monday 5 Jun 2017:

The sunny and very warm or hot conditions are likely to hold on in many eastern and south-eastern parts during the Bank Holiday weekend. However, we will already begin to see a thundery breakdown pushing in across northern and western parts during Saturday. Perhaps turning fresher, with drier and brighter weather moving into western parts on Sunday and Monday. A brief settled spell of weather is likely to follow, before we see unsettled conditions developing into the first week of June, with a mixture of sunshine and showers or longer spells of rain with strong winds, mainly in the north and west. Temperatures generally returning closer to normal, although in any sunshine it will become rather warm at times.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 6 Jun 2017 to Tuesday 20 Jun 2017:

Confidence in the forecast remains low into early June, but on balance the first full week of June looks set to remain unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain, interspersed with some drier and brighter weather. By the middle of June, more settled weather may begin to dominate bringing drier and brighter weather. Temperatures are likely to be close to normal during the start of this period, but as more settled weather arrives it is likely that it will turn warmer and may become very warm in places.
