    Most places staying dry with bright or sunny spells and just isolated showers. Feeling quite warm in the sunshine but cooler near near eastern coasts in a moderate southeasterly breeze. Maximum Temperature 16 °C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Mainly dry throughout the period, with just the odd isolated shower possible, and plenty of sunny spells. Winds generally moderate and from a southerly direction.

    A breezy day with sunshine and blustery showers developing. Showers will be heavy at times, with a risk of thunder in the afternoon. More persistent rain arriving into Northern Ireland during the early part of the evening.

    Tonight:

    Turning largely dry across the south overnight, barring the odd shower. Showers and longer spells of rain continuing in the north with brisk winds.

    Friday:

    Another breezy day with showers in the north. Largely dry at first in the south, but persistent rain spreading northeast through the day, turning heavy at times with strong winds.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Staying changeable over the next few days with sunshine and showers for many. Saturday may see some prolonged drier spells in the south, with more frequent showers Sunday and Monday.

    UK Outlook for Monday 31 Jul 2017 to Wednesday 9 Aug 2017:

    A generally unsettled spell of weather is expected on Monday and Tuesday with a mixture of sunshine and showers for most, and possibly a spell of more prolonged rain in the southeast. Heavy showers and strong winds are most likely in the north and west with a risk of hail and thunder, with lighter winds elsewhere. The unsettled pattern looks most likely set to continue until early August with further frontal systems affecting the United Kingdom, interspersed with clearer or perhaps showery weather and some unseasonably windy conditions at times, mainly in the north and west. Temperatures should be around normal to cool, with perhaps only the far south east seeing some warmer and humid conditions at times.

    UK Outlook for Thursday 10 Aug 2017 to Thursday 24 Aug 2017:

    Changeable or unsettled conditions are likely at first with periods of rain interspersed with clearer or showery weather. There are increasing signals for high pressure to build which would allow for more settled conditions and rising temperatures, mostly likely in the south. By the middle of August signals become mixed and confidence is low. However, the preferred solution is for north-western parts to stay largely changeable, with drier and brighter spells of weather becoming more prevalent in the southeast. However, most areas could see showers or longer spells of rain at times.
