Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 8 Sep 2015 to Thursday 17 Sep 2015:

Initially conditions next week are expected to be settled with light winds and variable amounts of cloud allowing some sunshine by day and clear spells by night. Mist and fog patches are likely to form in rural areas during the nights but these will clear fairly readily in the mornings. The afternoon temperature should be close to normal and it should feel pleasant in any sunshine. During the nights and mornings however it will be chilly with ground frosts expected in rural areas. Then as we head towards the weekend the latest indications are that more unsettled and windier conditions are likely to move in from the west. Changeable conditions are then expected during the following week, but with eastern areas possibly remaining dry for much of the time.

UK Outlook for Friday 18 Sep 2015 to Friday 2 Oct 2015:

The second half of September is likely to see the southeast holding on to the best of the drier weather, although with occasional unsettled spells developing here, while the northwest sees more regular outbreaks of rain and stronger winds. Temperatures are likely to be generally close to average for much of the time, although both cooler and warmer intervals are possible. By the end of the month there is a small chance of some more settled warmer conditions becoming established again.
