UK Outlook for Thursday 23 Apr 2015 to Saturday 2 May 2015:
The start of this period will begin generally dry with good sunny spells across the British Isles. However, it is likely that the weather will gradually turn more unsettled during Friday and into the last few days of April, most probably from the south or west. Light winds are forecast in most areas at first, although breezier conditions are expected at times in the south, and a transition to generally windier weather is on the cards through the period. Temperatures are likely to be above average at first, before cooling down to near normal. This more unsettled and cooler weather pattern is then expected to continue into the early part of May, with a chance of some wet and windy conditions affecting the British Isles.
UK Outlook for Sunday 3 May 2015 to Sunday 17 May 2015:
There is some uncertainty regarding the weather forecast during this period. However, the most likely scenario is for weather conditions to be fairly typical for the time of year. As a result some wet weather is likely at times along with some drier and brighter periods, perhaps the best of these developing towards the south and east. Daytime temperatures will probably range from close to average during unsettled weather to above average when conditions are fine, and it will feel pleasantly warm in the sunnier spells as a result. As is common for the time of year, the more settled spells may be accompanied by chilly evenings with some isolated overnight frost in rural areas.
