    Sunny spells and scattered showers, these occasionally heavy, with possible lightning during the afternoon. Feeling pleasant in sunshine in sheltered areas despite the northwesterly breeze, but fresher winds near coasts. Maximum Temperature 18°C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Cloudier on Thursday with occasional showers. Brisk winds, strong near coasts. Cloudy and windy on Friday with patchy light rain. Patchy rain at first on Saturday will clear.

    A dry night with clear spells for many, although some showers will continue, these chiefly in northern areas. It will be a chilly night for many, with a cool northerly breeze.

    Wednesday:

    Isolated showers and sunny spells through the morning, with the showers becoming a little more widespread through the afternoon. The best of the sunshine will be in the southwest.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Largely dry with sunny intervals, but northerly winds will bring scattered showers throughout, these lighter than previous days. Chilly nights, especially in the north, with a touch of frost possible.

    UK Outlook for Sunday 6 Sep 2015 to Tuesday 15 Sep 2015:

    Sunday is likely to be a rather cloudy day with some patchy rain for a time towards the north as well as coasts and hills exposed to the northerly wind. Brighter conditions with some sunshine are likely in the south. Sunnier conditions develop through Monday, with just a few showers around windward coasts. Through the rest of the period settled conditions should become established across all parts, with some cool misty starts followed by dry and fine days. Temperatures will be close to normal and it will feel pleasantly warm in the sunshine. Overnight temperatures are likely to be on the chilly side at first, with a risk of some localised rural grass frosts, most especially in the north. Temperatures may trend upwards towards the latter half of the period.

    UK Outlook for Wednesday 16 Sep 2015 to Wednesday 30 Sep 2015:

    The second half of September is likely to start with generally fine and settled conditions, with plenty of dry weather with some pleasant sunshine, and with only brief spells of cloudier, wetter weather. Towards the end of the month a northwest to southeast split develops in the weather, with the southeast holding on to the best of the drier weather, although with occasional unsettled spells developing here, while the northwest sees more regular outbreaks of of rain and strong winds. Temperatures will be generally close to average, but with cooler conditions developing again towards the north and west later.
