Many will have a dry day with warm sunshine, although some eastern coasts will be cooler and cloudier at times. Scattered heavy and locally thundery showers will affect northwest Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cloudier and breezier in the southeast later.
Heavy showers in the west and northwest will ease to leave a dry night with clear spells. However, further east low cloud will gradually spread westwards overnight.
Monday looks to be mostly fine in the west with some warm sunshine. Further east it will be cloudier and windier with rain developing across east and south-east England later.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Generally more unsettled through Tuesday and Wednesday, although still with some drier, brighter and warmer spells. Perhaps more sunshine likely on Thursday but remaining cloudier and damper in the east.
