    Early dull and misty conditions will lift and clear, with some warm sunny spells developing, especially in the east. It will also remain humid. Staying largely dry, although isolated showers are possible from late afternoon into the evening. Maximum Temperature 25 °C.


    Any isolated early showers will die away. Turning cloudy and misty with fog patches forming. Light winds everywhere and feeling quite muggy. Minimum Temperature 16 °C.


    Dull and misty with fog patches at first, however, during the afternoon most parts will see some bright or sunny spells developing. Staying warm and humid with light winds. Maximum Temperature 26 °C.

    Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

    Generally feeling fresher and cooler than recent days, while the odd shower is possible most parts will see lengthy dry spells with clear or sunny periods. Winds remaining light.

    This Evening and Tonight:

    Rain in the north of England and western Scotland will slowly move further north and east. Some heavy bursts are likely in the Highlands. Further south, it will be mostly cloudy and humid with widespread hill and coastal fog.


    Rain across Scotland will fizzle out, before more heavy rain spreads into Northern Ireland and then western Scotland. Further south will be brighter and significantly warmer with a few showers.

    Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

    Wednesday and Thursday will be fresher but mainly dry in England and Wales. Showers are likely further north. Friday's showers will be heavier across northern England and Wales.

    UK Outlook for Saturday 26 Aug 2017 to Monday 4 Sep 2017:

    Saturday is likely to be dry for most of us and warm in the east. One or two showers remain possible. Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday will probably become changeable again, with heavy showers or longer spells of rain, particularly in the north and west. However, parts of the southeast may stay mainly dry with some sunny spells. It will be windy at times, especially in the north, with a risk of gales here. Into the following week, there remains a lot of uncertainty, although we may continue to see spells of wet and windy weather, particularly in the northwest, with drier spells, mainly in the south. Temperatures will probably be near normal, though perhaps rather warm at times in the south.

    During this period, we are most likely to see changeable weather conditions featuring across the United Kingdom. However, there will be some dry and fine weather at times too. On balance spells of rain and strong winds are likely to dominate in the north and west, with drier and brighter weather more common in the south and east. Temperatures will probably remain close to normal for the time of year in most parts, though they may become warm or very warm at times in the south.
