Regional forecast for East of England

Mainly dry overnight, sunny spells and a few showers tomorrow.

    This Evening and Tonight:

Any remaining showers should die away to leave a largely dry but rather cloudy night in light winds. Some clear spells should develop towards dawn. Minimum Temperature 11 °C.

    Friday:

Although cloudy at times, some warmer sunny intervals will develop by the afternoon. This may allow a few heavy showers to develop, before further rain returns later. Maximum Temperature 23 °C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Saturday probably starting wet but brightening up later with some warm sunny spells developing. Bright and breezy Sunday, with further fine weather Monday as winds ease. Warm at times.

UK forecast for the next 5 days

Cool and wet at first, but drier by the weekend.

    This Evening and Tonight:

Windy with further rain at times across much of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the far southwest of England. Elsewhere, mostly cloudy and whilst generally drier, some occasional light rain or drizzle is still possible.

    Friday:

Rain across the west and north of the UK will slowly drift southeastwards. Otherwise some brightness developing, but also a risk of heavy showers across parts of England and Wales.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Once rain clears the southeast on Saturday morning, many southern and eastern areas will see plenty of dry weather. Always more changeable further north and west, where windy at times.

Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Tuesday 4 Jul 2017 to Thursday 13 Jul 2017:

Many southern and eastern areas should start dry with sunny spells. However, a transition to more generally changeable conditions seems quite likely, with outbreaks of rain developing, this perhaps thundery across the south and southeast, where it could also become very warm for a time. Towards the following weekend and indeed the start of the week beyond this, there is much uncertainty in the forecast, but it looks as though southern and eastern areas of the UK will see the best of the drier, brighter weather. Further northwest, a more unsettled theme seems likely, where it could also be windy at times. Temperatures will probably pan out around average, with warmer spells in the southeast, but becoming cool at times in the northwest.

UK Outlook for Friday 14 Jul 2017 to Friday 28 Jul 2017:

Further changeable weather is likely at first, with some rain at times, but also drier, brighter interludes, these most likely across the south and east. However, dry and warm weather may soon become more prevalent in the south, with a more settled picture then developing quite widely across the UK, increasing the chances of seeing some higher temperatures once again. By the end of the month, we may see a return to more changeable conditions, though still with temperatures above average.
