Current Activities
Adam is the suite owner of the Global Evaluation Suite used across the office to analyse operational suite upgrades. He is also the system manager of the python shared repository, Varpy, which allows revision control and governance of various python utilities. Further work includes near real-time data coverage plots and responding to bespoke data coverage requirements.
Career Background
MSci in Astrophysics (2009) at University College London followed by a PhD in the simulation of gas giant planetary interiors (2015).
Since completing my PhD I have been working at the Met Office in the Data Assimilation and Ensembles department.
