Michael is presently improving and extending software used to manage, analyse and visualise surface observations. Michael also manages the
HadObs website where datasets created by Met Office Hadley Centre scientists are shared with colleagues around the world.
Michael has been developing meteorological software since 1987, first at Reading University's Department of Meteorology, briefly at the ECMWF, and since 1996 at the Met Office.
