Cabauw, Netherlands

The tower is located in the center of the Netherlands, near the village of Cabauw. The foot of the tower is at 0.5 m below mean sea level; the distance of the North Sea is about 45 km. The tower has been in operation since 1973. The height of the tower is 213 m. Horizontal booms are installed at 20 m intervalls. A RASS installation is located 300 m south of the tower and has been in operation since July 1994.
