"UK Outlook for Monday 13 Sep 2010 to Wednesday 22 Sep 2010:
Monday should see a fine start in southern areas of the UK, but rain in the north will spread to most parts over the next day or so, the heaviest of this rain always likely to be around western hills. From Wednesday onwards, sunshine and showers are likely for all areas, the focus of heavier showers being the north and northeast of the UK, while southwestern parts see the best of somewhat drier weather. It will be breezy at times, with a risk of gales in exposed areas, especially in the north of the UK. Daytime temperatures are likely to stay near normal in southern parts but it is expected to become rather cool in the north, with an increasing risk of overnight frost in shelter.

"UK Outlook for Thursday 23 Sep 2010 to Thursday 7 Oct 2010:
Indications are that the weather looks likely to remain fairly unsettled across many parts of the country during the last week of September and the beginning of October, with rain or showers at times but also some drier and brighter periods. Rain is most likely to affect the north and west of the UK, especially western Scotland, Northern Ireland and northwest England, with perhaps more in the way of drier conditions towards southern and eastern England. Temperatures should be mostly around average for the time of year across the country, perhaps occasionally warmer than average in the south and southeast of England.
