A shallow low 1006 over Viking on Monday evening clears northwards overnight. Another low 1006 over Biscay moves northeast over France into Tuesday, deepening 996 by the time it reaches Denmark overnight into Wednesday, then clearing northeast into Southern Scandinavia during the day. High 1032 to the west of FitzRoy on Tuesday extends a ridge northeast over the UK, it sinks south and then east Wednesday and Thursday, maintaining a ridge northwards over the UK, ridge clearing east into the North Sea by the end of Thursday. A weak low 1013 develops over Bailey on Tuesday, becoming complex as it reaches the UK on Wednesday. Gales are not expected throughout the period. Strong winds possible at times, most likely Wednesday and Thursday, in the north at first but spreading south later. Widespread fog is not expected through the forecast period

High 1032 to the west of FitzRoy on Tuesday extends a ridge northeast over the UK, it sinks south and then east Wednesday and Thursday, maintaining a ridge northwards over the UK, ridge clearing east into the North Sea by the end of Thursday.
